Boston's Tenth Man can't be wrong…

Do you like those cool Red Sox player jerseys, with the names and numbers on them…but can’t afford to shell out as much as $150 for one? I have always wanted one, but didn’t want to fork over that kind of money for it.

But then, when I was launching this site, I was approached by the fine folks at Boston’s Tenth Man about displaying an affiliate banner on the site. I checked out the site, liked what I saw, and I agreed to do it. I’m all about saving money, and helping other people save money, as well.

So I decided to order one of these jerseys for myself, since I wanted one, and I thought I’d also give a product review here on this site. So, here goes…

You can choose from several top-name Red Sox players here…anything Dice-K is a hot item, and they have that. But you can also choose from other players, like Big Papi, Manny, Schilling, Papelbon, and more. You can also choose between the white home or gray away jerseys. These jerseys sell for $69.99 each, plus shipping and handling. But before you order, check out the Weekly Special (which you can click to from the main page of the site). This week it is a Jonathan Papelbon home jersey for only $60.00. This changes every week, so keep checking back to see what’s new.

My favorite player is Big Papi (David Ortiz), and I thought about getting his name and number on my jersey. However, I decided to go for a custom jersey. This is wicked cool, and what a great gift this would make for your favorite Red Sox fan! These cost $89.99 plus shipping and handling…still FAR less than the pre-made player jerseys that they sell at sporting goods stores and the souvenir shops around Fenway Park.

You will need to allow extra time to get these custom jerseys, since they have to have them made up for you. If you need it for a particular occasion, such as a birthday gift, I would allow about three weeks or so from the time you place the order, to the time you receive it. That’s about how long it took to get mine. It came today!
