…for the Pawtucket Red Sox. He is rehabbing from a small injury…a broken fingernail on his right hand. A broken nail may not seem a big deal to most, but when you’re a baseball player and need to use that hand a lot, it does. Story here.

The game is pretty much sold out, at least most of the reserved seats are. But when I checked a little while ago, they do have General Admission seats left, if you want to go, visit pawsox.com to reserve your tickets and then pick them up at Will-Call when you get there. Don’t risk waiting to buy tickets when you get there, you may be disappointed.
The weather forecast is a good one, and like the Rox last night, the PawSox are having a post-game fireworks show.
We have tickets, reserved seats (I won’t do General Admission at McCoy, OR Hadlock Field (Portland Sea Dogs), because that is always where the most unruly rugrats sit). I bought them quite a while ago, that is really the only way to get good reserved seats at McCoy. I think we’ll have a late lunch/early dinner at Chelo’s in Pawtucket before the game, because we expect long lines at the food stands, just like last night at sold-out Campanelli Stadium.
At least they have separate beer stands. As usual, we’ll be visiting out good friend, the beer guy who’s been there forever, who is somewhere behind sections 5-6-7. We’ll be in section 6 tonight.
I’ll try and get some decent pics at the game!
