Can you believe that the Eastern League All-Star Game is only a week away? And just like the MLB All-Star event, there will be a Home Run Derby. Only this one will be on the day of the game, July 16, 5PM.
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats are proud to announce that their very own Travis Snider has been chosen as one of six sluggers to compete in the Derby. The remaining five are: Luke Hughes of the New Britain Rock Cats, Nick Evans of the Binghamton Mets, Lou Montanez and Jeff Nettles of the Bowie Baysox, and Dusty Ryan of the Erie Sea Wolves.

Anyhoo, there is excitement all around, and no way will these guys need any diet pills or anything else to get them going. And I’m just as excited. I have never attended any All-Star Game before, not even when the MLB one was at Fenway back in 1999. This will be a first for me, and I can’t wait!
Tickets are still available for the Eastern League All-Star Game at MerchantsAuto.com Stadium in Manchester, NH. Just go to nhfishercats.com to order yours. Your ticket will include ALL events of the day, the autograph session, the Home Run Derby, the game itself, and post game fireworks and entertainment. Gates will open at 3PM.
We may just sit and watch some of it from our hotel room, since we managed to snag a room at the Hilton Garden Inn, one that faces the ballpark. But we WILL walk out to the park before the actual game!

Hello!! I found your website last summer during the North Shore Spirit season. I attended games at Fraser Field for five years!! What a shame to see them go!! I LOVE your website!! Hope to see you next week at the All-Star Game.
