No, NOT the movie…the event at Hadlock Field this past Sunday. I had taken some video of the players coming out of the *cornfield*, and today I edited it into a halfway decent video. The first clip came out a bit crappy, but the second one was much better. I included them both in the video anyway.
The Sea Dogs players suited up in throwback 1920’s uniforms, the kind which would have been work by the old timey Portland Eskimos. That’s pretty close to the time of the Chicago Black Sox, the players of old who walked out of Kevin Costner’s cornfield and onto his baseball field in the movie, “Field of Dreams”. They even played the main theme from the movie, which I used in the video. I muted the original sound because it was kind of messed up and added the soundtrack on my own, including a WAV file from the movie, by James Earl Jones.
The event certainly evoked the days of old, back before we had the internet, iPods, modern furniture, cell phones, or anything like that. But the whole thing was still very cool!
Well, here’s the video…hope you enjoy it!

Christine...seen here with spousal unit, Mike, and two very cool pieces of hardware!
