Flipping out

I can’t say enough good things about my Flip Video Camera.  And I’m happy to report that they are on sale at Buy.com again…this reconditioned model can be yours for under $90, including FREE shipping.

This time, it’s a black one that is on sale.  So this would be an excellent gift for Father’s Day, as it’s a much more masculine color than the pink and white one that I have.

The Flip camera is small enough to fit into your pocket, but it takes great video…up to 60 minutes worth.  It’s great for taking to the ballpark, so you can record a fun day out.  When you get home, you can plug it directly into a USB port on your computer, and the Flip software will automatically install.  No CD-rom is needed.  The software will let you edit your video footage, and can even upload it directly to sites like YouTube.

By purchasing a refurbished model such as this one, you’ll save a ton of money.  And you can’t even tell that it’s been refurbished, it comes in the original box and is just like new.  However, should you have any problems with it, Buy.com will take it back and send you a replacement.  A friend of mine bought one of these and she did have a problem.  But they took it back, sent her another camera, and she is very happy with it.

So, if you are looking for a good quality affordable video camera, you can do far worse than the Flip.  I love mine, and never go anywhere without it!
