Gearing up for the 2010 season
Well, it’s February, which means that Red Sox pitchers and catchers will be reporting to Spring Training in Fort Myers in a couple of weeks. They’re ready…are you?
Maybe it’s time to upgrade the TV situation in your home, so that you don’t miss a play? This Haier 22″ TV/DVD combo is just the thing, if you’re looking to add a TV to a kitchen or bedroom. Now you can enjoy the Sox and other favorites in HDTV in any room in your home!
I like having a TV in the kitchen, so I don’t miss anything while I’m preparing meals, and then we can watch while we eat. I know that some families don’t approve of watching TV at the dinner table, but we’re not one of those. No kids, so we don’t have to set a good example for anyone. I also like to be able to sometimes watch a cooking DVD while cooking…I did this just yesterday, in fact. But I don’t have this TV, at least not yet, so I had to use my netbook along with that Netbook Mate in order to play DVDs in the kitchen.
This would also be a good bedroom TV. It has a sleep timer, so you can fall asleep while watching/listening to those West coast late night games, and the TV won’t be on when you wake up in the morning.
Note that the DVD player just plays regular DVDs, probably won’t work for Blu-Ray. But if you already have a huge collection of DVDs, as I do, it won’t matter much, you’ll always be able to play those. And right now, you can still buy or rent new releases on DVD.
Haier seems like a decent brand of TVs. Last year, I bought this little 7″ portable TV of theirs. I’ve been very happy with it…I use it on my desk here, and it’s small enough to fit easily into a suitcase to take on the go.
Anyhoo, if you are in the market for a new TV, check out the TV/DVD combo! It’s on sale this week, with FREE shipping!
