Hey!  The Granite State Baseball Dinner is about a week and a half away now.  But there is still time to get your tickets, if you wish to attend.  This is a fun event that also raises money for some very worthwhile charities.

Here is the list of guests scheduled to be in attendance: Jim Rice, Chris Carpenter, Jesse Litsch, Bob Stanley, Bernie Carbo, Angelo Dundee, Jeremy & Josh Papelbon, Bob Tewksbury, Joe Lefebvre, Rich Gale, Jim Beattie, Jeff Locke, Mary Pratt, Tom Signore, Sam Fuld, Marc Rzepczynski, Ricky Romero, Rich Gedman, Steve Nelson, Doug Davis, and Heidi Watney.  Some of these sports celebrities were there last year, while others are new.  Heidi Watney of NESN is new to this event, as is the one who’s likely to be the big star of the show, Red Sox star and the newest member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Jim Rice.

The Radisson in downtown Manchester is easy to find.  It’s right in the middle of town, and you can’t miss it, what with all of the outdoor lighting they have! Parking is available in the garage next to the hotel, hopefully, they will offer a special rate for this.

So, if you want to go, waster no more time, and get your tickets while you still can.  Hope to see you there!

Rice actually appeared at this event back in 2004, when it was organized by the Nashua Pride and known as the New Hampshire Baseball Dinner.
