I need to get out of the house…

June 28th, 2008 · No Comments

It’s been a rather hellacious week for me, two trips to the ER due to some scary symptoms. It all turned out to be serious anxiety issues, likely due to hormone fluctuations due to menopause. Not fun at all. But now I have some happy pills, and they are really helping.

Although we already have plans to go to the Fisher Cats game tomorrow…we have that Sunday Funday mini-plan…I need to get out of the house, to someplace that is NOT a hospital. The doctor at the ER who prescribed my happy pills suggested getting out and doing fun stuff, indulging in hobbies, etc. That’s why I think I need to go to the North Shore Navigators game tonight. When we went to the Fisher Cats game last week, I was not having any anxiety attacks, and that was BEFORE happy pills. I seem to only have them when I am at home, alone, and not keeping busy.

But I’m getting cabin fever big time, and I can’t wait until tomorrow to hit a ball game. I guess I would not make a good cat (even though we have six of them), because I would not be happy to just lounge around on top of my cat tree all day long (looking at Sabby who has been doing just that). I need to get out of here for a few hours…STAT!

So, heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to Lynn we go! I love that Fraser Field is close enough so that we don’t really have to plan anything in advance, we feel like going, the Navs are in town, we can just go.

Hopefully, the weather will hold out. Last Sunday when we went to the Fisher Cats game, I left my umbrella in the car. The game was called in the fourth due to non-stop rain. So I figure that if I bring my umbrella this time, and to Manchester tomorrow, that oughta keep the rain away, right?

They are having fireworks tonight at Fraser Field, as well. They had them the first time we were there, Opening Night, and it was pretty cool.

See you at the ballpark! :D
