Lookee what just came in the mail…

It’s the tickets for our Fisher Cats mini-plan! Complete with their brand-new spiffy logo. I think they look nicer than last year’s tickets. They’ll definitely go better with some baseball-themed scrapbook paper that I have! :D

And look what else we got…

Two lift tickets to Pats Peak, a voucher for a Ted Williams bobblehead, and two $15 vouchers good for anything from the Fisher Cats gift shop. Since we bought two seats, for me and Mike, we get two of things, exept for the bobblehead. That is limited to one per order. But that’s okay, because we live in the same house, and we only need one. I’m the bobblehead collector, anyway, I’ll put old Ted up on the shelf with the rest of my collection.

I’m glad they sent a voucher for the bobblehead, instead of actually trying to mail it. Better to pick it up when we go to the ballpark, then it won’t get lost, stolen, or broken in the mail.

As for the gift shop coupons, I would like to use them towards gearing up for the Eastern League All-Star Game, which will be held at MerchantsAuto.com Stadium this summer. Surely they will have special All-Star shirts, hats, and all for the occasion. And surely we’ll be able to buy them before the big game, so we can actually wear them there.

As mini-plan holders, we had the option to buy All-Star Game tickets, and we did…we even got the same seats as we have for our plan. We’ll be picking up those tickets at the ballpark sometime in April, as they are not available yet. They are having ultra-spiffy tickets printed up for the occasion. That’s nice, because I’m sure I’m not the only one that would save them, put them in a scrapbook and all.

Another thing we get is a chance to throw out a first pitch. I didn’t take advantage of this last year, because it would have been hard for Mike to get a pic of it from our old seats. But from the new seats we just got, he can. and so I’ll go for it. Maybe I should teach him how to use the video camera as well.

You can get all of this, too, if you buy a mini-plan. They only have 1500 bobbleheads, so hurry if you want one. Manchester is only an hour away from Boston, and when you think about it, it can be faster to get there, than it does to get to Fenway on the T. Parking is also way cheaper…I know where you can park on the street for free, if you are willing to walk a bit. Last year, a local business sponsored a shuttle from said free street parking, but I don’t know yet if they’ll be doing that again this year. If you buy season tickets or a mini-plan, they have special discounted parking offers, if you prefer to park closer to the ballpark.

Ticket prices are also WAY cheaper. For $270, I just got tickets to 12 regular season games, for two people, as well as tix for the Eastern League All-Star Game. Decent seats, too, exactly what I asked for! And all of the perks I mentioned above. How much can you get for $270 at Fenway? Not that much, that’s for sure!

If you’ve never been to a Fisher Cats’ game, and don’t want to commit to a season plan, individual tickets go on sale later this week…February 13, I think. Once you go to a game there, you will see what a top-notch organization they are, and I guarantee that you’ll want to go back.

If you do come to a game on a Sunday, Opening Night, or the All-Star Game, please feel free to stop by and say hello…we’re in section 107, row S, seats 1 & 2.

Less than two months ’til Fisher Cats’ Opening Day! :D
