The Sox game just ended, and guess who scored the winning (in fact, BOTH Sox runs)? The new guy, Jason Bay. Jed Lowrie had the game winning hit, though. It’s finally over after a long 12 innings.
Bay was the only guy we got in this three-way trade. In addition to Manny, we game up pitcher Craig Hansen and outfielder Brandon Moss. Plus, I think the Sox have to pay the Dodgers some obscene amount of money to pay off Manny’s contract.
The Manny-less era has begun.

So tomorrow we leave for the weekend to go to Manchester for a weekend of Fisher Cats fun. Hopefully, it will not rain, as they are calling for. But even if it does rain, the hotel is nice, with a panoramic view of the field and the tarp…you know, we were there a few weeks ago.
But before that we have to drop off the Nashua Pride tickets to the guy who said he wanted them. I hate to see good baseball tickets go to waste, so if someone else can use them, I am happy.
So I’ll be outta here until Sunday night, unless I want to use a computer in the hotel. But I will be Twittering and Uttering from my phone, so stay tuned!

Christine...seen here with spousal unit, Mike, and two very cool pieces of hardware!
