Mint juleps for all!
Have you ever had a mint julep? I don’t drink hard liquor much anymore these days, so I haven’t. I suspect that it’s something that may make me get sick. I still have memories of getting violently ill from drinking too much peppermint schnapps. But the mint julep doesn’t contain peppermint schnapps, it’s made with bourbon. Here is a recipe.
The mint julep, as you may know, it the official beverage of the Kentucky Derby. It’s less than two months away. If you’re planning a party, it’s not too late to order your Kentucky Derby party invitations.
