MVP! MVP! MVP!

The American League MVP award went to Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia. Story HERE. I’m sure you remember that Pedroia was named A.L. Rookie of the Year last year. Not bad for a guy who we saw playing in the minors just a couple of short years ago! I’ve been to many Sea Dogs and PawSox games, and saw him play before he got the call to the big club.
That is what’s cool about going to minor league games; you get to see a lot of these guys before they make it big.
One of Pedroia’s teammates, who I also saw quite a bit of in the minors, Kevin Youkilis, scored third place in the MVP voting.
Congratulations, Dustin!Â
