New look, same blog…
Yesterday, I moved this blog from Expression Engine to WordPress. I wanted to change the layout, and EE makes things so much harder than they need to be. It was actually easier to make the switch, then to fight with the EE templates.
I’m still working on things here. I had to use the RSS feed from the EE blog to move it to WP. That feed didn’t pick up any of the comments, nor did it pick up anything after the “read more” on some of the posts. It also messed up my categories. There’s no easy way that I can see to get a full RSS feed on an EE blog, comments and all. So I will have to fix it up manually.
Also, the theme I chose was in Spanish. I figured it out, though. If you see anything in Spanish anywhere, I’m working on it!
Still, I’m glad I made the switch, it will be so much easier for me from now on. Hope you like the new look!
