The day I’ve been waiting for is finally arriving!  Individual game tickets for the 2010 New Hampshire Fisher Cats season will go on sale at 9AM on Monday, February 15.  Now, I am all set with my Sunday Funday mini-plan, but there are other games we want to go to this year, as well.  And we ‘d like to get *our* seats if at all possible.  We especially want to go to “Renew Your Wedding Vows Night”, because it was so much fun last year, and it will also be our 10th anniversary this year.  You can read all about the 2009 event HERE.

From February 15-21, tickets will be sold online only.  On Monday, February 22, sales will be made at the MerchantsAuto.com Stadium ticket office, as well as over the phone.  But if you want to be sure you get the best choice of seats, don’t wait, order online ASAP.  This is especially important if there is a special event or giveaway that you have your heart set on.  Also, any game against the Class AA Red Sox, the Portland Sea Dogs, tend to sell out quickly.  There is a mini-plan that just has Fisher Cats vs. Sea Dogs games, if you can make it to all of them, which is worth checking out.

What I like about the online ordering is their Ticket Return system.  This enables you to print your tickets at home, which saves you the hassle of standing in long Will-Call lines, or worrying about having your tickets lost in the mail.  If you lose or misplace your printed tickets, or if you run out of printer ink before they are done printing, fear not.  You can log back into your account and print them again at any time before the game.  But NO, you can’t print out zillions of copies and pass them out to all your friends.  Well, I suppose you COULD, but the ticket-takers use a bar-code scanner thingy at the gate.  Once a ticket is scanned in, that’s it, anyone else with copies of that same ticket will be turned away, or perhaps even captured, chopped up, BBQed, and fed to mascots Fungo and Slider (but not the the Rah-Lee Llama, llamas are vegetarians!).  So don’t do it!

So mark your calendars, Opening Day is April 15, which is not all that far away!
