The 2009 season is shaping up…

November 12th, 2008 · No Comments

When we were up in Portland at the beginning of November for the Maine Brewers Festival, I mentioned that we’d gotten some tickets for the Sea Dogs for next season.  I still haven’t gotten my Sunday Funday mini-plan for the NH Fisher Cats yet, but I will be getting it soon.  As such, I had to plan around their Sunday home schedule.  It turned out that the only weekend home games in Portland that we could make it to are when the Fisher Cats come to Portland to play the Sea Dogs.  So I got us tickets for July 10-11-12 and September 4-5-6.  The latter series includes the Field of Dreams Day game, that is always cool.

So now I’m trying to get hold of the Fisher Cats ticket guy about my mini-plan…he emailed me on Monday, I responded, but I’ve yet to hear back.  I may just have to call him.  I really want to try to lock in the same seats we had last year, but if not, we can figure out some other seats that we’ll like just as well.  I hope he’s still in the office; that he didn’t suddenly find one of those nice Outer Banks rentals, and took off suddenly! Probably not, he’s probably just busy selling season tickets and all. I’ll just try to reach him by phone late on today, and get this done already.

Then I can add those dates to my list, which is at the bottom of the left sidebar. Needless to say, this will be added to as the various teams’ tickets go on sale.

How many more days until Opening Day?
