So I hear that some New York Giants fans are being sore losers…sound like any OTHER N.Y. sports teams we all know and hate? They don’t want to see the Pats kick ass and attain The Perfect Season, so they are selling off their tickets to the big game…at overly inflated prices. Story here.
I heard on the news this morning that this one guy was asking $210,000 for a pair of tickets to Saturday’s game at the Meadowlands. Wonder if anyone will pay it?
So I guess this game will be kind of like some of the Red Sox away games, such as those at Tampa Bay against the Devil Rays…oops, I guess I’m supposed to call them the “Rays” now. Most of the fans in the stands there are Red Sox fans. I guess there must be SOME Rays fans, but not many.
Anyhoo, if you are hoping to make that trip to New Jersey this weekend, better get out those pens and prepare to write a ginormous check for those tickets! If you can afford it, why not go for it? You’ll see history in the making!

I’m just glad this this is going to be a night game. I was checking the Pats’ website to see what time it will be on. Every Saturday, we go out to run errands, and have lunch at the Piccadilly Pub in Tewksbury. We ALWAYS sit in the bar area, to sit in the main dining room is to suffer the screaming of many, many obnoxious kids. So we don’t do it.
But if the game was on at lunchtime, we’d be in trouble…the place would be packed with Pats fans there to watch the game on their nice HDTVs. We’d NEVER get a seat anywhere in the bar area. And going someplace else would mean the same thing. I’m just glad it’s on at 8:15 PM…we can have our weekly lunch date in relative peace, and if I want to watch the game at home, I can do that in peace, as well. I’m not a big football-watcher, but I might watch this one, because it is a Very Big Deal.
GOOOOO PATS!
