Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas
If you live within a 30 mile distance of either McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, RI, or Hadlock Field in Portland, ME, there is a really cool V-Day gift idea for the baseball fan in your life. Both of these Red Sox minor league franchises are offering the chance for you to have a mascot deliver, to your special someone, a dozen roses, a team cap, and two reserved seat game tickets. Chocolate may be yummie and much welcomed, but this package won’t require your SO to break out the diet pills (unless he or she eats too much at the game, that is!).
For those of you up in Portland, the Sea Dogs mascot, Slugger (pictured above) will deliver to your sweetheart’s home or office two tickets to Opening Night (April 9), roses, and a Sea Dogs hat. Pacakges cost $100, and will be delivered on Friday, February 13. More details, including how to order, are HERE.
For those of you who are down in Rhode Island and within the 30 mile delivery area of McCoy Stadium, you can have PawSox mascots Paws or Sox deliver pretty much the same package that the Sea Dogs are offering. The game tickets in this case are reserved flex tickets, which can be used for any regular season game at McCoy Stadium. The PawSox package can be delivered on either Friday, February 13 or Saturday, February 14, and cost $85. Foir more info, please go HERE.
I’d suggest calling on the phone to order…if for not other reason, that they don’t show up with oe of those stupid pink caps like Paws has in the pic on the PawSox site. If the recipient likes those stupid pink caps, that’s fine, but if they don’t (I’m a girl and I don’t like them), they’ll just get pissed off to get one. Also, most guys wouldn’t wear a silly pink cap, either, and yes, it’s okay to send flowers to guys. Just not silly pink caps!
