The Sox just won, eliminating the Angels and advancing to the ALCS. Jed Lowrie was the big hero, hitting an RBI single in the bottom of the 9th, causing Jason Bay to score. I was so glad it didn’t turn out to be another extra innings game like yesterday!

It’s gonna get tougher, though, as we have to play the Tampa Bay Rays. That series starts on Friday. Maybe we can go out somewhere to watch it. We can stay out late, since it is, after all, Friday.
