…is at it again!

Even though the Milwaukee Brewers got a gazillion hits, the Sox got more, including TWO home runs from Big Papi. I think everyone got a hit today except Coco Crisp. Oh well.

And they got the game in before it started raining again. Good, because we can’t really afford any more rainouts. The schedule is tight enough as it is.

I think that David Ortiz’ problems earlier in the season stemmed from the cold weather. A lot of these guys, especially those from warm countries like the Dominican Republic, aren’t used to the cold, and don’t do their best in it. Pedro Martinez had the same problem. Anyhoo, I’m glad he’s back to his usual Big-Papi-ness now.

I heard that there is to be an afternoon game on Thursday, vs. Kansas City. I tried to buy a ticket, but all they had were right field boxes for $50. Jeebus…even tickets for a weekday afternoon game seem to be harder to get than good commercial real estate in Boston!

Right field box seats suck, I’d rather sit in the bleachers. But I guess I won’t be sitting anywhere but here for that game. Oh, well.
